The Auckland International Airport is located south of Auckland in the
town of Mangere. An airport shuttle (Airbus) runs between Auckland Airport
and the large hotels located in central Auckland. A single adult fares
from the airport to the city centre costs approximately NZ$15.
Alternatively, rental cars can be booked online and picked up at the
Auckland International Airport. Public transit is also available from the airport to
various destinations in the city. Taxi service into the city is also
available but is relatively expensive (NZ$50-60).
